Context
A manufacturing and trading company approached us after a corporate conflict between its two owners years prior. One owner exited the business, while the other became CEO.
Subsequently, the former partner launched a campaign to discredit the CEO, resulting in two articles in sensationalist media outlets. These articles ranked highly in Google searches for the CEO's name, prompting inquiries from current business partners and eroding trust. The company's PR director then contacted Avagard Global.
Approach and result
After a linguistic analysis revealed that the articles were difficult to prove as defamatory in court, we pursued deindexing based on the "right to be forgotten." Within 10 days, the links were successfully removed, and inquiries from clients and partners ceased.
